Mable L. Dyer, age 90, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007 in the Toledo Hospital. She was born August 8, 1916 in Galiton, Tennessee. Mable was employed with St. Vincent Hospital for more than 25 years, retiring at age 67. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed quilting and needlepoint. Mable also took pride in caring for her home and family and cherished the time she spent with them.
In addition to her parents,Isabel (Head) and Melvin Crabtree, Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Dyer; daughter, Helen L. Waldvogel; son-in-law, Norman Waldvogel and siblings, Dolly; Gossie; Minnie; Myrtle; Walter; Charlie; Hiram and Garnet. She is survived by her loving family, including her grandsons, Walter "Darrel" (Teresa) Smith and Chris (Jennifer) Waldvogel; great-grandchildren, Emily and Madison and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
