Lynne E. Blossom

Lynne E. Blossom, age 65, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born on November 12, 1946 to Edward and Evelyn (Flowers) Kaminski in Toledo. Lynne was employed with Mercy Hospital, then St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center for over 30 years before retiring. She was an avid football fan, loved cats and feeding the squirrels. Lynne enjoyed spending time at Lake Gage and sitting on the hill top. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Lynne loved nothing more than spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Blossom; grandmother, Jeannette Flowers; and feline companion, Shoobee. Lynne is survived by her loving sons, Roger (Melissa) and Phillip (Amy) Blossom; grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob, Travis, Alexa and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Tyson and Emiliah; sister, Arleen (Harvey) Wells; brother, Craig Kaminski; and former spouse and friend, Roger Blossom.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 12 – 2:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
