Lynn R. Thomas

On November 1, 2014 Lynn Robert Thomas went to his heavenly home. He was born April 25, 1942 to Fred and Ellen Thomas of Toledo, Ohio. He was the brother of the late Janet Thomas Smith. He was a graduate of Macomber High School in the class of 1960. He was baptized confirmed and married in Reformation Lutheran Church. He was a die maker for Ehrler's, Dura Corporation Precision Tool and Die for many years. Lynn was an avid bowler with his bowling group. He was an active member of the AA organization for 36 years. He was dedicated to serving in the program and mentored many, guiding countless men down the road to recovery. He will be sadly missed by friends and family.

He was a loving father and grandfather, enjoying time spent with family. Surviving are his children Bradley Thomas (Julie) of Orlando FL, Rodney Thomas of Sparks NV and Jennifer Morrison of Tallahassee FL. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, and Felicia Thomas of Orlando, Luke Thomas of Sparks NV, and Lindsay, Abigail and Ethan Morrison of Tallahassee, FL. Great grandchildren: Paola, and Julian Thomas of Mt Dora FL, and Roslyn Thomas of Orlando, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and granddaughter Tiffany Ann Thomas.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m.
