Lynn O'Bryant, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Lynn was raised in Maumee, Ohio and was born to John and Myrtle Staffan. She was married to Gary O'Bryant for 45 years. Together they raised three children.
Lynn was a lifelong Maumee Panther (class of '61) where she participated in track and cheerleading. She has now run her last race and performed her last cheer. Lynn cherished her breakfasts with her MHS friends, her shopping trips to Amish and Grand Rapids, Ohio and watching her children, then grandchildren and even great grandchildren play sports and participate in school activities.
Lynn is survived by her son, James (Jacquelyn) O'Bryant, her daughter, Jodi O'Bryant, her son, John (Ashlea) O'Bryant; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lynn is also survived by her sister, Nancy Earle and her nieces and nephews.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gary O'Bryant and her brother, Richard Staffan.
The family will receive guests Friday, November 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
She was a proud Toledo Police wife and mother and she remained a member of Retired Toledo Police Officers Association. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Toledo Police Museum.
