Lynn W. Ector

Lynn W. Ector, age 90, of Ottawa Lake, Michigan passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020. He was born in Mason, Tennessee on January 3, 1930 to the late Walter and Fannie (Harris) Ector.
Lynn enjoyed the out doors and sharing stories about his time in the Army. He was know to fix things, always will to help out and needed tasks for his neighbors. Lynn would go on long walks, 5 miles every other day. He completed his electrician apprenticeship with Johns-Manville in 1977, and continued with them for over 20 years. Lynn was a devote Christian, taking time out of his days to read the Bible.
Left to cherish Lynn's memory is his wife of 52 years, Carrie Ector; children, Kevin Ector, Sandra (Harold) Roche', and Michelle (Charles) Combs; 7 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Ector; and many nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by his siblings, Sammie Ector, Walter Ector, Jr., Melvin Ector, Evertine Terry, and Alene Sidney; uncle, Leo Ector; and aunt, Bertha Price.
Family will be receiving guests Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 (419 473 0300).
