Lyndsey Jo Zielinski

Lyndsey Jo (Hunkapiller) Zielinski, age 37, of Holland, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 11, 2022. She was born on June 5, 1984 to Larry and Ronda (Sherrer) Hunkapiller in Toledo, OH. Lyndsey graduate in 2003 from Springfield High School. She worked at Subway Stores for 15 years in the Toledo area as a manager, making many lifelong friends. Lyndsey enjoyed art, loved music and running 5K marathons. She was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. Lyndsey had a vibrant personality and a smile you wouldn't forget. She loved nothing more than spending time with her friends and most importantly her two sons. To know her was to love her, she would want you to remember her with a smile.

In addition to her father, Larry who passed January 20, 2022, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward Hunkapiller and Ron and Myrna Sherrer; and step-mother, Debbie Hunkapiller. Left to cherish Lyndsey's memory are her husband, Nick; adoring sons, Blake and Jase; grandmother, Betty Hunkapiller; mother, Ronda Sherrer; in-laws, John and Colleen Zielinski; brothers, Brad (Fran) Hunkapiller and Zachary (Jamie Huth) Ludwig; brothers-in-law, Jay (Sonya) and Shane Zielinski; sister-in-law, Sam (Randy) Mull; nephews and nieces, Bradley, Naomi, Leighton, Stephanie, Alexis, Kennedy, Jameson, Bo, Chelsea, Michael, and Alyssa; and many other family members and loving dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo (419-392-9500). Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
