Lyman "Moe" Barnhart, age 50, of Bowling Green, passed away Monday, August 1st, 2005 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born on January 5, 1955 to Lyman and Judy Barnhart in Wauseon, OH. Moe was an ice cream truck driver for Mr. Frosty, for 24 years. He was an avid euchre player.
Moe is survived by his sons: Richard A. and Bobbie J. Barnhart; 4 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; sisters: Addie (Kelly) Wilson, Shirley (Richard) McMillen, Betty (Al) Smith, Pauline (Hollis) Wood; brothers: Daniel (Sharon), Elmer "Mike", Ralph (Pat) Barnhart; and two very special aunts: Esther Nowowiejski and Millie Kirkendall. He was preceded in death by his parents, son John J. Barnhart, sisters Mary Lou and Ruth, brothers, Dave, Pete, Claude.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, August 4, 2005 from 5-7:00 p.m. in the Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Rd., Maumee, OH 43537 where a Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bessie M. Snyder officiating. Interment will take place at Winnameg Cemetery, Delta, OH. The Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
The family requests that those wishing to give monetary donations are asked to consider the Whitehouse Inn, 10834 Waterville St., Whitehouse, OH 43571 (419-877-1180) where a fundraiser will be held in the near future to assist the family with funeral expenses.
