Lupe Mireles, 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 20, 2013. She was born on June 8, 1939 to the late Felisitas (Aguirre) and Guadalupe Mireles in Bustamante NL, Mexico.
Earlier in life, Lupe excelled at her education but because of the economy, left school to work in Food service at Mercy Medical Hospital. She married and later divorced, but her main focus was raising her three daughters. Lupe's first priority was always spending time with her grandchildren and family. She also enjoyed Bingo, bowling, listening and singing to music, playing pool and dancing. Despite her declining health, she always had a great zest for life.
In addition to her parents, Lupe was preceded in death by her sisters, Andrea Gonzalez and Josie Mireles. Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Jacqueline (Ronald) Hanf, Debra (Pearl) Wambold and Kathy (Kevin) Kuch; siblings, Erlinda Escobedo, Johnny, Alicia, Maria Zeigler and Jesse; grandchildren, Justin, Nicholas and Jordan Marie Hanf, Katerina, Kevin Jr. and Kenneth Kuch; many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Otterbein-Perrysburg for their wonderful care.
