Luetta A. Maidlow

Luetta A. Maidlow, age 86, of Toledo, passed away April 11, 2022 at home with her family at her side. She was born November 9, 1935 in Toledo to Darrell and Martha Smith. Luetta was known as the neighborhood "Mom." She enjoyed football especially the Michigan Wolverines and Washington Redskins. The greatest love of Luetta's life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Luetta was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Maidlow; brother, Darrell Smith, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Emma Maidlow. She is survived by her children, Laura (Rich) Schnapp, Darrell Maidlow, Cindy Holland; 8 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Beatrice "Cookie" (Wayne) Hyslop and special friends, Sue, Donna and Joanne.

The family will receive guests Friday, April 15, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Luetta's memory.
