Lucy M. Bartlett

Lucy M. Bartlett, age 61, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 16, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 13, 1952 to Lawrence and Violet (Cornes) Frick in Toledo. Lucy worked at Brick's Greenhouse and St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and camping on the fourth of July with her family. Lucy loved nothing more than the time spent with them, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence Frick, Jr. and Henry Frick. Lucy is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jim Bartlett; children, Bill (Rhonda) Bartlett, James Bartlett, Jr. and Denise (Robert Smotherman) Bartlett; grandchildren, Torie, Samantha, William Jr., Robert, Aaron, Mary and Ashley; and one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, George Frick, Betty Walker, Georgia (Artie) Agapitos and Diane (Dale) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
