Lucille M. Schmeltz

Lucille M. Schmeltz, age 91, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 19, 2011 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on May 28, 1920 to Carlton and Anna (Malby) Gavin in Toledo. Lucille was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church, Maumee and of the Shiners Dhendara Court #10, Toledo. Lucille graduated from business school and often enjoyed luncheons with her former business school friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Schmeltz. Lucille is survived by her loving son, Richard (Tina) Schmeltz; and grandson, Justin Schmeltz.
A Memorial Service in honor of Lucille will take place Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Broadway St., Maumee, OH 43537.
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
