Lucille Mae Lakatos, of West Toledo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born to Victor and Sylvia (Friedman) Forman in Toledo. Lucille worked at St. Lukes Hospital and then at the Roofers Local #134 until retiring. She devoted her life to her family and found great joy with her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lucille will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andrew Lakatos and brother, Victor Forman. Lucille is survived by her sons: Gary and Larry (Linda) Lakatos; grandsons: Eric (Gisela) and Shane (Luna) Lakatos; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Shirley (Harlan) Failor and Bev (Charles) Clark; brothers: Richard and Edward (Louise) Forman; and many other cherished family members and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Leo Clark and the ICU staff for their tender explanation, Carol on the palliative care floor at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and to the Lewis Avenue Fire Station for all the love and care given to Lucille.
