Lucille E. Path, age 86, passed away on July 30, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born on August 8, 1929 in Paint Rock, Texas to Ora Mae and Walter Baldwin.
She met her husband, William in 1948 when he was a travelling baseball player. The two were married on July 4, 1948 and then relocated to Toledo, Ohio. Lucille was an accomplished seamstress and also enjoyed quilting, leaving lots of quilts for others to enjoy. She had her own daycare in the 1970s, Young Wings of Wisdom. Lucille's family was the most important thing to her; she always put them first and was a devoted wife, mom and grandma.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lauren Path; grandson, David Buchman; son-in-law, William "Chip" Buchman; sisters, Lottie Hefflon and Louise Hall; 8 nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband of 67 years, William R.; daughter, Debra Buchman; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
A special thank you to Cathy, Kelly, Melissa and Pam from ProMedica Hospice and neighbor, Rob for their wonderful care over the past year.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 1 – 2:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Burial to follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery on Monroe Street in Sylvania, Ohio.
