Luann will be unforgettable to those whose lives she touched. Her infectious smile and laughter will be remembered from the old Polish Village, to the Irish Hills and everywhere in between. She covered all her bases- she was the kindest, gentlest, most warm-hearted "bull-in-a-china-shop" you ever met. She was the most fiercely independent woman who absolutely loved entertaining and having her loved ones over for a cookout or home-cooked meal (often pierogies and kielbasa).
She was the most outdoorsy person who was always on her computer, often growing her own garden and flowers, then to take the most absolutely stunning photos of her flowers- her gift and passion for photography was unmatched. She was a dedicated, loyal hard worker who knew how to have fun. She was so loveable and loving. She lived a long life full of wisdom but left us way too soon.
Luann is survived by her mother Phyllis (Krueger) Schmidt, her loving husband Dan Cosby, her daughter Jessica Ignasiak, along with sisters Sue (Fred) Wozniak, Becky Leckliter, Sandy Schmidt Pegler (Glenn), her ex David Ignasiak, and a multitude of nieces, nephews and other family members. She is preceded in death by her dear brother Michael Blase and her dad, John Schmidt.
