Lowell A. Diefenthaler

Lowell A. "Art" Diefenthaler, age 72, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the University of Toledo Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 14, 1943 to Arthur and Agnes (Lentner) Diefenthaler in Curtice, Ohio. Art spent his life building things, wrecking things and then fixing them again. He loved snowmobiling with Dan, Walt and Bill and spending time "Up North."

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne; grandsons, Todd and Kyle; and 2 nephews. Art is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Janet; sons, Rich (Darlene), Andy (Kelly) and Danny; daughters, Pam (Paul) and Judy (Eddie); 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean (Ron) and Pat; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many dear friends and his ABCO Services family.

There will be no visitation or services for Art per his wishes. A Luncheon will be held at a later date to Celebrate Art's life. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice.
