Louis Emmett Sudeth, age 76, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 after a long illness with amyloidosis cancer. He was born August 26, 1937 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to Hillary and Anna (Walters) Sudeth.
He is survived by his loving wife Unice Annette (Sapp) Sudeth of 55 years married October 31, 1958 in Pensacola, Florida; sons Steven Louis Sudeth, Michael Todd Sudeth (Jennifer), daughter Pamela Ann Sudeth, Louis's brother Roger Sudeth, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Leroca Sudeth, grandparents Louis and Rosa Walters, grandparents Emmet and Eva Sudeth. He was raised by his grandparents Walter's on their farm in Pembine, Wisconsin after his parents passed away. There they taught him the values of life. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy until he was discharged in 1959. After that, Louis was employed with GM Powertrain, Alexis Road, for 32 years retiring in 1992. He loved working on cars and was known as Louie Supertune. Louis received a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Davis Jr. Business College. He also worked part time for Vin Devers Autohaus in Sylvania, Ohio.
He loved sports including bowling, racing stock cars with his younger son Mike who won many races at Oakshade Raceway thanks to Fall Automotive Machine. The thing he loved most was the Lord Jesus Christ who forgave him of his sins and gave him eternal life.
Louis received a kidney transplant April 20, 2010 thanks to a special lady Sherry Reischel of West Bend, Wisconsin which gave him four more years of life. He was always witnessing to someone about the Lord. In all he faced it was God who would get him through the valley. His favorite verse was II Timothy 1:7. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love; and of a sound mind."
Special thanks for all your prayers, visits, and cards. Thanks to the doctors and staff at UTMC and Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio for all their compassionate care they gave Louis. A special thanks to the congregation of Hope Baptist Church where they have been members the past 14 years.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The family will receive guests Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. at Hope Baptist Church, 6250 South Ave. Toledo, OH 43615, (419-867-9996) where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Sowell officiating. Interment will be at Toledo Memorial Park.
