Louis F. "Louie" Langlois, 78, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008. He was born March 22, 1930 to Charles and Rosalind (White) Langlois in Toledo. Louie was a Toledo Police Officer, retiring after 28 years of dedicated service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines serving during the Korean Conflict. Louie was a member of the Toledo Police Retirees, Fraternal Order of Police and American Legion Post #512. His passions included cooking and tending his vegetable garden. Louie had a wonderful sense of humor and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
Louie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kay Langlois; sons, Chris Langlois and Don (Pam) Burch; daughters, Brooke Langlois and Shawn (Scott) Jacobs; grandchildren, M. David, Richard, Daniel, Nicholas, Jazmyne and Isiah; brothers, Charles (Betty), David (Betty) and Kenny Langlois; sisters, Ruth (William) Hoyle and Donna Mae (Rudy) Lancalotta; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania. Please meet at the front gates shortly before 10:00 a.m.
