Louis E. Brzuchalski
June 16, 1940 — September 7, 2013
Louis E. Brzuchalski, age 73, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1940 to Louis and Elizabeth (Sirilo) Brzuchalski.
Jr. retired from Norfolk Southern as a clerk after 42 years of service. In his spare time he loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren, they were his pride and joy. His true passion was trains. When he had the opportunity he would walk the tracks young and old to admire the engines.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Irene F. (Bennett) Brzuchalski; daughters, Lisa (Chuck) Brooker and Monica (Micheal) Meleski; granddaughter, Kourtney; grandsons, Vincent, Connor, Nathan, Carl and Micheal II; siblings, Betty Jane (Joe) Michalak, Pat Fuehr, Rosemarie Brzuchalski, Darlene Horosewski and sister in law, Monica Brzuchalski; mother in law, Mae Walker; sisters in law, Patty Hughes, Vicki Puterbaugh, Sue (Bud) Hood and Bobbie (Charlie) Clements; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Jr. was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald and Robert; son in law, Micheal Meleski.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 3-9:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Toledo.
