Lorraine Estrella

Lorraine Estrella, age 77 of Toledo, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in Flower Hospital. She was born December 7, 1934 to Alphonse and Laura Lavoie in Fall River, Massachusetts. Lorraine lived most of her life in the New England area, she and her husband most recently moved to Ohio to be closer to their family. She enjoyed spending time with her precious granddaughter, Tahra; working on needlepoint projects, puzzles and cheering on her favorite teams, New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Lorraine was also a member of St. Joseph Church in Sylvania.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 57 years, Raymond Estrella; son, Tom (Audra) Estrella; granddaughter, Tahra and many loving nieces and nephews in the New England area.

The family will receive guests Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 5373 Main St., Sylvania, Ohio. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the church with the Very Rev. Dennis M. Metzger officiating.

Burial will take place in Fall River, Massachusetts at a later date.
