Lorin R. Mohn, Sr.

Lorin Mohn, age 83, passed away on Decemeber 28, 2011 in The Toledo Hospital. He was the oldest of ten children, born to Russell and Evelyn Mohn in Toledo, Ohio. Lorin was a graduate of Olney High School and served for a time in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a salesman for Wolverton Pet Supplies for many years.

He led a very active life in church as well as Masonic functions. Lorin was a member of Zenobia Shrine Chanters and in many other Masonic groups.

Lorin is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Lorin, Jr. and Bruce; granddaughter, Caitlin. Also surviving are his brother, James (Patricia); sisters, Edith Felhaber and Jean Mohn as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Richard and Henry; sister, Mary Griffith.

The family will receive guests Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sylvania United Church of Christ, 7240 Erie St., Sylvania. A Memorial Service will follow in the church at 11:00 a.m.
