Loretta Lucille Vining (Scurlock)

Loretta Lucille Vining (Scurlock), age 85, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on February 23, 2025. She was born November 4, 1939, in Athens, Ohio, to the late Carl and Lucile (Barnhart) Scurlock. 

Loretta worked at Libbey Glass, Champion Spark Plug, and Ginger Products.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her son, Keith (Kathy); daughter, Deanna; and her furry companion, Angel.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Vining; sister; brother; and youngest son.

The family would like to thank her friends, Sandy, Steve, and Christine for all their help, care, and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice, any Humane society, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

At this time, there will be no services held.
