Loretta J. Stiltner, age 70 of Sylvania, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 27, 2011 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born on March 27, 1940 to William and Irene (Krauzer) Stiltner in Toledo. For many years Loretta managed Kurts bakery, she also worked for Champion Spark Plug and later started her own cleaning company, Cleaning by Loretta. In her spare time Loretta belonged to a local Bunco club and was also a member of the YMCA in Maumee. She was deeply devoted to God and her strong faith led her to Cedar Creek Church, where she enjoyed attending services. Loretta's family was very important to her as were her two cats, Patches and Dolly.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Marjorie Webb; her nieces, Rebecca (Danny) Pierce, Beth (Skip) Johnson, Marlene (Ben) Flint and Marilyn Webb; nephew, William Young; great-niece, Sarah York; great-nephews, Dustin Hames and Andrew Flaten and very special great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Cheyenna York, Samantha Webb and Nicholas Flint. Preceding her in death are her parents; sisters, Virginia Young and Mary Jo and best friend, Sue Goss.
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
