Lora S. Oswalt

Lora S. Oswalt, age 50, of Toledo, formerly of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 23, 1964 to Robert Curtis and Carolyn (Unrue) Phelps. Most important to Lora was her family, children and especially her grandchildren. Some of her hobbies included gardening, fishing and the outdoors in general. Lora worked in the home health care field for a number of years and she truly enjoyed taking care of her clients, always going above and beyond.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Carolyn (Ronnie) Phelps; children, Jeffery (Heather), Stephanie (Noe) Lopez, Jeramy (Teresa Reese) and Jason Oswalt; 14 grandchildren; brother, David Curtis; half sisters, Sheryl Hendrickson and Judith Holt and half brother, Robert (Linda) Curtis. She was preceded in death by her father.

The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
