Lona G. White

Lona G. "Sally" White, age 88, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Monday, February 7, 2022 at Divine Care and Rehab. She was born on December 10, 1933 to Charles and Helen (Rangler) Rogers in Toledo. Sally worked in housekeeping for over 25 years at the Hilton until retiring. She enjoyed traveling and went to 48 states and lived in Arizona for a time and always wanted to go back. Sally loved animals, especially German Shepherds. She was an avid gardener, liked cooking and baking and collected owls. Sally was a diehard fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. Her smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clement White; and all of her siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her loving sons, Daniel (Roxanne) White and Dennis (Debi) White; grandchildren, Sarah (Richard) Fahrer, Daniel White and Aaron McWhorter; sister-in-law, Joy (Alan) Borsos; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
