Lois M. "Jane" Swiatecki
Lois M. "Jane" Swiatecki, age 76 a longtime resident of Toledo, passed away Monday morning, October 21, 2002 at her home. Lois was born July 20, 1926 to Michael L. and Agnes (DeShetler) Kraft in Toledo. She managed several area restaurants. Lois was also involved with the Board of Elections for many years. She was a former member of Rosary Cathedral for 20 years and currently a member of St. Clement Church. Lois enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; Michael L. Kraft and Agnes Esser, husband; Raymond Swiatecki, son; Anthony Swiatecki and sister; Doris Finkle. She is survived by her sons; Raymond (Kathy) Swiatecki, Douglas (Mary) Swiatecki, daughter; Karol Hazard, grandchildren; Jerry Hazard, Kelly Vossen, Stephen Swiatecki, Morgan and Nick Swiatecki, great grandchildren; Brianne, Jacob and Joshua Vossen, Stephen Swiatecki and Cheyenne Sief, Siblings; Anges Welch, Robert (Dorothy) Kraft, Eunice (Richard) Lewis, Vernice Mills, John Kraft, Charles Kraft, Francis Starks, Phyllis Marker, Joseph and Edward Esser.
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 3-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). There will be Scripture Services Wednesday evening. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
