Wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she always put her family first. We felt comfort knowing that we were in her daily prayers. Her family was her total joy in life.
She was a member of Rosary Cathedral since 1985 and devoted many years of her life to the church. She was a sponsor of the R.C.I.A. welcoming over 70 new members to the church.
We find comfort knowing that she was a healthy 92 years old and still living on her own. No matter where she went, she was always dressed like she was attending a formal event.
During her earlier years, she enjoyed sketching and oil painting. She also enjoyed watching television and going to the movies and lunch most Friday's. Lois was an avid reader and an accomplished author, writing a book, based on a detective mystery, called The Probers.
Even though she lived a long and full life, she will be greatly missed by her loving family. There's nothing that takes the place of talking daily with your mom.
