Lois Jean Koopmans

Lois Jean Koopmans, age 76, of Toledo, passed away July 6, 2022 at home. Lois was born June 12, 1946 in Dayton, OH to Howard and Genevieve (Davis) Hartzell. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1964. She was employed with Lion Store for several years and 18 years at French Quarter Holiday Inn. Lois was a member of Ohio Tole Painters, Woodward High School Reunion and Hall of Fame Committees, The Manor House Seasonal Decorator, and a past President of a local painting club in Toledo, Ohio.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, David Koopmans; daughter, Robin Ballesteros; step-children, Corey (April) Koopmans and Kelly (Ramon) Revilla; grandchildren, Valentin and Ryan (Shelbi) Ballesteros, Kyler, Logan, and Livia Koopmans, Michael, Matthew, and Jennifer Revilla; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Zander, and Lucas; sister, Margie Eckard; and brother, Ron Hartzell.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
