Lois Elaine Kinshaw

November 25, 1941 — April 9, 2022

Lois Elaine Kinshaw (Butz), born November 25, 1941, to Eugene and Belva Butz passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on April 9, 2022.

Lois is survived by her son Todd (Renee) Cappelletty, daughters Lisa (Jeff) Cappelletty and Jodi Cappelletty. Grandchildren Nicole (Matt) Johnson, Shelby (Corey) Brennan, Brandon Cappelletty, Antonio Nachtrab. Great-grandchildren Faith Johnson, Annabella Johnson, Ryder Brennan, Elijah Gallegos, Joshua Tarr. Great-great grandchild Avianna Gallegos. Brother Richard, sisters Doris, Joanne, Barb, Pat, and Sharon. Many nieces and nephews. And numerous grand pups!

Lois was an avid reader who also enjoyed sewing and baking. She embraced anything life brought her way with courage and intent. She was the life of the party. With Lois, you could pick up right where you left off. A smile and hug were always there to greet you. Her greatest love of all was her family, especially her grandkids. She loved watching Annabella dance, telling jokes with Antonio and Easter egg hunts with Ryder.

While Lois' zest for life and love for all who knew her, were always present, the end of her journey was most profound. There aren't too many people who get to experience what we did with Nana at the end. WE hope she brought you as much comfort as she brought to us in her final weeks. Nana's story is one of LOVE, PATIENCE and FORGIVENESS…Live life to the fullest, never take it too seriously, hurt is not hate, enjoy the journey, learn from me DO NOT BE AFRAID – it's a beautiful thing when you're halfway to heaven.

If this wonderful woman you called - mom, Nana, sister, aunt, friend shared a memory or moment with you; we hope it made you smile, laugh, or even cry. This defined the true meaning of unconditional love. We are all blessed to have been loved by - mom, Nana, sister, aunt, friend…LOIS.

Lois will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Most special of her friends are lifelong friend Gary, best friend Marge and travel buddy Cheryl.

Lois is proceeded in death by her parents Eugene and Belva Butz. Husband Joseph. Grandson Ramon Gallegos. Brother Raymond Butz, who passed away in 2012 but came to sit with her for the last three weeks of her life, telling her daily to BE PATIENT.

Special thanks to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Renee, you are an angel. Thank you for your kindness, compassion and care you provided for Nana. Your hugs were most comforting to us.

Details for a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. A special memory or online condolence may be expressed to the family by visiting www.NewcomerToledo.com.
