Lois Jean Warstler

Lois Jean Warstler, age 89, of Toledo, passed away November 13, 2015 at the Toledo Hospital with loving family by her side. She was born March 21, 1926 in Toledo to Clifford and Isabell (Gillett) Waters. Lois was employed with the Elder-Beerman for more than 30 years before retiring. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo and the Order of the Eastern Star. Lois enjoyed bowling, roller skating, world traveling with her husband and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Laberdee, son-in-law, Bill Smith; granddaughter, Melissa Gault; sisters, Mary Ellen Parker and Theone Orris and brothers, Harold, Walter and Bill Waters. Lois is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert Warstler; son, Clifford (Jamie) Warstler, daughters, Charlena (James) Mawer, Lorena Smith, and Pamela (Carl) Gault; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two on the way; special friends, Wilma Bacho and Jenny Regan.

The family will receive guests Tuesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo, 6520 Pilliod Rd., Holland, OH with visitation one hour prior in church. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
