Lois K. Gensler, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on September 9, 2023. She had an amazing life filled with love and left an amazing legacy behind for her family to cherish. She was a 1952 Libbey High School graduate. After graduating she bravely set off with her best friend to California where she met her first husband, Alvin Harris, and started her family. Lois returned home to Toledo with her daughters, Diana and Deby, in 1966. In 1970 she met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Gensler, through computer dating, marrying him on December 18, 1970, and expanding their family by welcoming a son, David. Lois worked for many years as a clerk for the Lucas County Health Department and she retired from the Toledo Police Department in 1998. She was an avid reader, and she also enjoyed camping and traveling to Europe, Israel, Yellowstone, and Alaska.
