Lois was born to Michael and Adeline (O'Bryan) Nusbaum in Toledo, Ohio on May 19, 1928. She died on June 26th, 2006 in her home with her loving husband Lawrence "Rich" Frelin at her side. Lois was a graduate of Central Catholic and St. Vincent's School of Nursing. She worked for Dr. B.L. Huffman and Dr. Donna Woodson at Fallen Timbers Family Physicians for many years. In her retirement Lois was a school nurse at St. Mary's grade school in Toledo. She was an avid fan of Jeopardy and crossword puzzles.
Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Dazell Jr.; sister, Carol Best Stader and her brother, Charles Nusbaum. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence "Rich" Frelin; her son, Jeffery (Beth) Dazell; her daughter, Ellen (Daniel) Angerer; grandsons, Chris; Bryan and Kevin Dazell, granddaughter, Jazmin Dazell; sister, Janet Hack and brothers, Jim and Rollin (Jeanette) Nusbaum. Lois is also survived by stepdaughters, Jennifer (Martin) Weislak and Beth (Tom) Contreras, stepsons, Rick (Kathy Cody) Frelin; Larry (Norma) Frelin and Kevin Frelin, many nieces and nephews as well as many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Friends and Family will be received at Newcomer Funeral Home on Thursday, June 29th from 2:00 to 8:00p.m. There will be a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass in Celebration of her life at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church on Harvest Lane.
