Logan Green, age 18 years, of Toledo, OH, was a loyal and loving son, beloved brother, fierce and funny friend, and cherished as grandson, nephew, cousin, co-worker, and classmate. Logan served as an inspiration not only to his peers but to his own family, whether it was in caring for his father, advising his younger sister, or promising that he would soon be able to take care of his mom. His perseverance through adversity, coupled with unfailing optimism and wrapped in an unquenchable confidence set Logan apart from many people. Logan followed in his older brother's footsteps as a graduate of the prestigious TECHS (Toledo Early College High School) in May 2016, and was enrolled as a junior this semester at the University of Toledo in the College of Business and Innovation, taking pre-finance coursework. Over the last few years, Logan cared for his father, ran his own snow removal business, and was employed – all while finishing high school and taking concurrent college courses. Not content with just taking classes, he was set to work at UPS as a package handler and, as with every other adventure in his life, he was ready and rarin' to go. He often posted on social media about his pride at attending UT, and invited other students to become his friend so they would feel more welcome on campus. That's the kind of person he was. Open. Gregarious. Charming. Determined. Optimistic. Stellar work ethic. Generous. While we all lost a piece of the future in his passing, for we can only imagine all he would have become and done, we also can remember that we are better for having loved him, and marvel at all he accomplished in his short time here on earth.
Logan leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Brenda L. Green; brother Dylan and sister Mikaela; grandfathers Lee Braatz and Russ (Carla) Green; Uncles Brian (Tina) and Brad Braatz and David (Teri) Green; and extended family. Logan was preceded in death by his father, Timothy A. Green and grandmothers Peggy Green and Pat Braatz.
