Lloyd O. Wilkin

Lloyd O. Wilkin, age 80, of Ottawa Hills, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015. He was born to John and Ella (Varner) Wilkin in Utica, Ohio on February 1, 1935. Lloyd was a graduate of Utica High School, Cincinnati Christian University and Bowling Green State University. He spent 15 years as a Minister, and retired as a supervisor after 25 years at the State of Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his family, sports and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marjory (Petrarca) Wilkin; sons, Philip, Paul (Jan) and Stephen (Stacey) Wilkin; five grandchildren, Emily (Nick) Mace, Katy Wilkin, Jonan, Elisha and Micah Wilkin; brothers, Kenneth (Marlene) and Don (Joyce); sister in law, Helene Wilkin; brother in law, James (Sandra) Petrarca and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, David Richards; sister, Kathleen (Woody) Woodruff and brother, Forrest Wilkin.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 10 - 11:00 a.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, 4855 W. Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43615, with Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be designated in Lloyd's name to The Toledo Botanical Garden or to The Toledo Symphony Orchestra.
