Lloyd Appley

Lloyd J. Appley, age 74 of Ottawa Lake, passed away, Monday, June 13, 2005 at home. Lloyd was born November 19, 1930 to George and Mary (Huffman) Appley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Lloyd worked for Colombia Gas for 38 years, as a machine operator and inspector. He was also a lifetime member of the Lambertville VFW Post 9656.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 50 years: Janette; children: Roger (Patricia) Appley, Denise (John) Vannatta and Tammy (Kevin) Bischoff; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Tuesday (today) June 14, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. AT Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) where a funeral service will take place Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
