Linda Wickard-Brown

Linda Rose (Wickard) Brown, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 9, 1941 in Grelton, Ohio to Eugene and Alice (Joy) Seelig. Linda was employed by Sky Bank for many years, retiring in 2001. She loved to quilt, camp and fish. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, cousin and friend, Linda will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sherry (Bob Likavec) Provo, Scott (Jeanne Skeldon) Wickard, Susan (Bill) Shuff and Stacey Wickard; mother, Alice L. Smith; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Kathy Seelig; brothers, Eugene (Gloria) Seelig and Stephen (Vikki) Seelig. In addition to her father, Eugene Seelig, Linda was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Gary Wickard, second husband, Denver Beck and third husband, Michael Brown; daughter, Tracy Hayes and son, Sidney John Wickard.

The family will receive guests Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
