Linda Kay Mohr, age 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2022. Linda was born on May 4, 1948, in Sweetwater, Tennessee, to Lowry and Pauline (Brower) Holder.
Linda owned businesses through the years. One was a jewelry store in Swanton, Ohio, where she met Jack, the love of her life for 40 years, the other was a t-shirt/sweatshirt business called Mohr sales. She and Jack traveled on weekends selling her handmade goods, making many friends along the way. Linda greeted everyone she met with a smile and her sweet southern charm. She was a member of the Toledo Craftsman's Guild. She was an avid animal lover and this included her many miniature poodles. Linda was a business owner, wife, friend, and devoted mother to her many fur babies. She enjoyed occasional trips to the casino, especially when she won! She also enjoyed her annual trips to Las Vegas. Linda loved listening to country western music and taking many trips to Tennessee with her husband, Jack.
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her sister, Ellen (Leonard) Spurgeon; long-time friend, Jill Penley; and faithful four legged companion, Mickee.
Per Linda's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Humane Society in Linda's memory.
