Linda L. Wealleans

Linda Lou Wealleans, 73, of South Toledo, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 23, 2013. Linda was born November 25, 1939 to Charles and Margene Achor.

She attended Libbey High School where she met her future husband Warren (Joe) Wealleans. The two enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Linda worked 32 years as a Special Education Paraprofessional at McTigue Jr. High, then at her alma mater Libbey High School, retiring in 2009. Linda enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and watching the Cleveland Indians. She loved her favorite sports figures Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan, but most of all, loved spending time with her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy Roder, and her eldest son Dennis. Linda is survived by her husband Joe (Buckeye), daughters Amy (David) Speelman, and Sallie (Randy) Kirkendall, sons Chris (Lisa), Joey (Michelle), and Matt (Debbie), sister Kay Newcomer, brother Dick (Sharon) Achor, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.
