Linda L Mories, age 73, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at The Manor at Perrysburg. Linda was born February 4, 1943 in Van Wert, OH to Linton and Mildred (Schlegel) Feeney. Linda graduated from Whitney Vocational in 1961 with her Cosmetology License.
Before Alzheimer's, Linda was passionate about helping others and was involved with multiple organizations, including the Women's American Legion and Moose Lodge in Sylvania. She often donated to ASPCA, Taberns for Tots, Arbor Day Foundation, World WildLife Fund and the National WildLife Federation.
Linda was a woman with quick wit and had a lot of spunk. She loved deeply and showed it by the things she did for people and all the special gifts she handmade for others. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by those who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husbands, Michael Jacobs in 1996 and Eugene Mories in 2003. She is survived by her children, Jeannie (Ed) Veale, Keith Jacobs and Karen (Ray) Moore; grandchildren, Branden, Cody and Nathan; great grandson, Bentley and sister, Delores M. Jackson.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's memory to any of the causes that she was passionate about.
