Linda D. Jones

Linda D. Jones, age 60, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on July 12, 1952 to Richard and H. Rosemary (Yancy) McCutcheon in Toledo. Linda enjoyed playing Bingo and on the computer. She was a great cook and avid gardener. Linda was an animal lover, especially of her dogs and birds. She was very giving and always enjoyed helping others out. Linda will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sons, Richard Wells and Matthew Johnson; infant daughter, Amanda Swick; and grandmother, Hattie Smith. Linda is survived by her loving husband of almost 11 years, John Jones; sons, David Johnson and John Woodby, IV; daughters, LeeAnn (Casey) Foust, Audry (Shannon) Haliday and Angela; step-son, John (Judy) Jones, III; 9 grandchildren; mother, Rosemary McCutcheon; mother-in-law, Ruth Jones; sisters, Dianna (Jim) Leonard and Sharron (Don) Danhauer; half-brother, Fred Smith; half-sister, Connie ; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 4 – 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
