Lilly B. Govan, age 76, of Toledo, Ohio passed away November 20, 2014 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born January 18, 1938 in Toledo, Ohio to James, Sr. and Lilly B. (Roberts) Parks. Lilly was employed with the LOF for more than 18 years retiring in 1982.
Lilly is survived by her daughter, Kim Govan; son, Andre Govan; grandson, Anthony Govan; brother, Edgar Parks and niece, Karen Jones. In addition to her parents, Lilly was preceded in death by her siblings, Virgie (William) Burns, Sylvia (John) Davis, James (Louise) Parks, Jr. and Harold Parks.
Funeral Services will begin Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 am. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo (419-381-1900).
Lilly's family would like to thank the staff at Ebeid Hospice, Alpine House and a special thank you to her niece Jann Marie Davis-Blair for their exceptional and loving care.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Lilly's memory.
