Lillian Pickerel

Lillian Pickerel, age 78, of Toledo, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 30, 2006 in her home. She was born on March 25, 1928 to James and Estelle (Weber) Towner in Toledo. Lillian worked as a clerk with the Lucas County Department of Human Services for 19 years before retiring. She was also a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacquelyn Hughes-Fryer, infant son John H. Pickerel, and brother, Floyd W. Towner. Lillian is survived by her children: Terry (Maria) Pickerel and Wendy (Marshall) Roberts; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 315 Galena St. (corner of Summit and Galena). The Newcomer Funeral Home, (419-473-0300) assisted the family with arrangements.
