Lila Jean LaVigne

Lila Jean LaVigne age 63 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024 in her home. She was born in Toledo on April 27, 1961 to Charles and Joyce (Cowden) Saar. 

Lila enjoyed traveling, entertaining, cooking, tending to her flowers in her backyard. She especially loved spending time laughing with family and friends. 

Surviving is her sons, Jeramie (Cameo) Zibbel and James “Josh” Zibbel; fiancé, Stuart Neal; grandchildren, Emma, Avery, Brody and Aiden Zibbel; siblings, Danny and Douglas Saar, Sharon Michalak, Helen Buck and Florence Baddar. Also surviving surviving is her canine companion, Tessa.In addition to her parents, Lila was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Larry Saar and sisters, Linda Young and Cindy Elliot.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH.
