Lewis Ross

Lewis "Louie" Ross, age 71, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, March 17th, 2009 at his home. He was born November 4th, 1937 to Clifford and Margaret (Guth) Ross in Southern, Ohio. Louie was employed with Chrysler for more than 35 years, retiring in 2000. He was a loving grandfather and friend and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Homer W. Ross; William Guth and Frank Ross. Louie is survived by his significant other, Verla Geller; siblings, Charles (Alice) Ross; Bertha (LeRoy) Hunt and Jerry L. McDonald of S. Carolina; great grandson, Michael Burtscher; stepson, Edwin Geller; grandchildren, Bobbie (Patrick) Yarcso and Tomie Burtscher, as well as several loving grandchildren, extended family members and dear friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Shelly Taylor and Jovan Stokes from Heritage Home Healthcare for all of their loving care and support given to Louie and his family.

The family will receive guests Saturday from 2-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
