Letha Retzloff

Letha Retzloff, age 88, of Maumee, passed away on February 6, 2017. She was born on February 25, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio.

Letha graduated from Libbey High School. She married Russell Retzloff on February 12, 1949. Together they raised two daughters in Maumee. Letha worked for several interior decorators over the years. She enjoyed spending family time at her pool and having lunch on the swing. She especially liked having family over for holiday dinners. Letha and Russ loved taking trips to Port Clinton and rides by the river together.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Lipps and Karen (Tommy) McDonough; grandchildren, Chris Ash (Kelli Cash), Stacy Ash, Andrea (Justin) Hoff and Aaron Lipps (Katie Miller); great-grandchildren, Miranda, Devon, Savanna, Darian, Kyle and Connor. Letha was preceded in death in November by her loving husband of 67 years, Russ.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Maumee.
