Lester H. Garner
Lester H. Garner, age 97, a longtime resident of Trilby, passed away Friday, November 9, 2007 in Lake Park Nursing Home. He was born July 23, 1910 to George and Ida (Kintner) Garner in Bryan, Ohio. Lester was self employed as a painting contractor for more than 40 years. He was a member of Local 7 Painters Union, the Black Swamp Woodcarvers and Trilby United Methodist Church. Lester also enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death earlier this year by his wife, Grace Garner; brothers, Alvah and George and his sister, Ruth. He is survived by his son, Wilbur (Teresa) Garner of Berkey, OH; daughter, Evelyn (Robert) Kelly of Ottawa Lake, MI; brother, Oscar Garner; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A private Memorial Service will be held for the family.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice & Health Care or to the American Heart Association.
