Leonore Wilkinson

April 7, 1925 — February 20, 2014

Leonore (Dumire) Wilkinson, age 88, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at The Laurels Health Care Facility. She was born April 7, 1925 in St. George, West Virginia, the daughter of Clarence and Sarah (Miller) Dumire.

Leonore grew up in West Virginia and moved to Ohio in 1949. She was known for her love and devotion to God. She had careers in Nursing, Music and Automotive Industry. Leonore enjoyed music and reading.

Leonore is survived by her son, Shane Wilkinson; daughter, Fawn Wilkinson; brother, Richard Dumire and sister, Elgene Sell; grandchildren, Cari (Frank) George, Chad (Mandi) Andrews, Cori Andrews and Shawn (Crystal) Wilkinson; 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Leonore was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Virgil and Harold Dumire.

Viewing will begin Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
