Leonard J. Steinmiller
Leonard J. Steinmiller, 79 passed away peacefully on January 21, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Leonard was born on November 30, 1929 to Leonard A. and Thelma (Albarado) Steinmiller in Toledo. He was a proud Korean War Army veteran. Leonard always stayed busy by working on many projects in his garage. He also enjoyed cultivating exotic plants, and spent much of his time fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Helen (McGraw), Children: Bernard (Kimilee); Mary Ach (Kole Sterling); Timothy (Dawn); Ann Hinz (Jerry) and son and caregiver, Christopher. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road (419-473-0300). A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held Monday at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 6135 Hill Ave. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
