Lenora Adams
October 4, 1925 — December 21, 2012
Lenora Adams, age 87, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio on Friday, December 21, 2012 with family surrounding her. She was born in Wolf Creek, Kentucky in Whitley County on October 4, 1925.
Lenora loved crafts, cake decorating, sewing and quilt making. Her family was everything to her. Lenora was a life-long member of Shelton Park Church of God in Lambertville, Michigan.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 63 years, Jess C. Adams and her son, Conley. Also preceding Lenora in death was her brothers, Harlan, Marsh, Mack and George Davenport; sisters, Millie Adams, Margaret Bassham and Lola Runnion.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary (Patrick) McGrath and Rose (Kevin) Strominger; son, Robert (Lori) Adams; sisters, Mary Lou (Thomas) Bledsoe of Taylor, Michigan and Lorena (David) Danforth of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
