Lena Ann Gaston, age 53, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away May 26, 2024, in the comfort of her home. She was born May 12, 1971, in Toledo, Ohio, to Tommy Joe Ward and Sandra Marie (Kerner) Ruch.
Lena loved flowers; she enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower beds and her home. While outside, she always liked seeing butterflies fly around and just enjoyed the outdoors. Lena also had a special love for Giraffes. She liked listening to all genres of music and relaxing at home watching the local news, Dr. Phil, Dr. Pimple Popper, and Love and Hip Hop.
Lena was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. She will deeply be missed by those who knew her. This isn’t goodbye, but we will see her again!
Those left to forever cherish her memory are her loving husband, Randolph Gaston; children, Brian Fuehr II and his fiancé’, Aurora Foster, Andrea Fuehr, and Nikoll Stanz; mother, Sandra Ruch; father, Tommy Ward; two siblings, Tommy Ward and Denise Weis; grandchildren, Chris, Alyesia, Erion, and Amelia; and step-son, Randolph Gaston Jr.
Private family services will take place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
