Lee G Madison

Lee Green Madison, age 77, of Toledo, passed away February 17, 2024 at University of Toledo Medical Center. Lee was born April 12, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio to Lee Sr. and Ruby (Cromer) Madison. He attended Libby High School and then was drafted into the U.S. Army on May 4, 1966 and served his country proudly until April 17, 1968. After the military, he went to work for Textile Leather as a machine operator where he worked for 38 years. Lee was the second oldest of 11 siblings and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lee is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Marcia A. Madison; son, Aaron L. Embery and wife Laura; also left to mourn are his special granddaughters, Cheyenne Alexis and Rio; grandsons, Maddox, Jadeon, and DaVaughn Greer; sister, Sheba Madison; brother, Todd Madison and wife Shawna, also, Fred Madison; special nieces, Star, Charisse, Ashlei, Madison and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Lee professed with God at an early age, though we miss him, we are assured that he is at peace with the Lord!

The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 11:00 am. at Resurrection Baptist Church; 3360 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, OH 43607. Burial will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo, where Lee will be receiving Military Honors for his faithful service to our country.
